Pricing and Payment Updates (September 2023)
We’ve kept our prices unchanged since 2016, despite rising inflation. According to the Bank of England’s inflation calculator:
- Group lessons should be £15.61 (2023 equivalent).
- Group Drums should be £23.41 (2023 equivalent).
- Solo lessons should be £31.21 (2023 equivalent).
We value inclusion and understand that wages haven’t kept up with inflation. So, to avoid pricing families out, we’re not increasing our prices! Instead, we’re introducing “The Big Switch.”
Here’s the deal: If parents switch to direct debit, they’ll keep 2016 prices. No more worrying about invoices and reminders. If not, they’ll be billed at the new 2023 prices.
The switch starts next half term (October 2023), and we’ll provide clear instructions for each price plan. This term’s invoice will be the last in the old format (Autumn 1 2023).
Parents handle setup and termination of direct debits. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for overpayments. This change saves time and balances against inflationary revenue loss.
We’ll continue catch-up lessons, but prices may be reviewed in the future. We believe this compromise is fair and offers great value. If you have any questions, please contact us by email.
